TK Array Showcases Environmental Work at NAIT’s Career Fair
TK Array’s project displays and field equipment at NAIT’s career fair on October 19, 2026.
TK Array Lands Corp. participated in NAIT’s career fair on Monday, October 19, 2026, with Anna and Austin representing the company and showcasing its environmental and land stewardship work. The event offered an opportunity to introduce TK Array’s projects and the range of skills that contribute to caring for the land.
Our display brought several areas of that work together, with posters highlighting wildlife population and habitat monitoring, the Caribou Habitat Restoration Project, and the 2 Billion Trees Program. Alongside the project displays, field equipment and other materials helped illustrate the practical side of environmental work, connecting the information on the posters with tools used on the land.
Wildlife monitoring is an important part of TK Array’s environmental services. Our approach includes remote wildlife cameras, audio recording equipment for bird inventories, and ecological surveys. These methods support the collection of information about species and their habitats, helping communities strengthen their monitoring and conservation efforts.
Habitat restoration and reforestation are another part of this work. TK Array’s involvement in caribou habitat restoration in northern Alberta combines environmental objectives with Indigenous participation, training, and opportunities to contribute directly to restoration activities.
The career fair also provided a setting to highlight how environmental science, mapping, and technology come together within the company. TK Array develops mobile data collection tools and supports Traditional Use mapping, helping communities document information, understand environmental conditions, and carry their own projects forward.
As an Indigenous-owned and led company, TK Array places community learning, participation, and capacity development at the centre of its work. Sharing this approach with people exploring their next steps in education and employment helps make the connection between technical skills and community priorities more visible.
Thank you to NAIT for the opportunity to participate, and to Anna and Austin for representing TK Array. Explore our environmental services and projects to learn more about our work.
